I wanted him to just go already so I could start counting down. I do remember hugging him lots and just hanging on. I wanted to remember what it felt like to feel him and smell him.Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07196257750016200916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7122029795960973041.post-74956313538232370972010-03-08T20:28:25.131-07:002010-03-08T20:28:25.131-07:00We're still a few weeks away from actual deplo...We're still a few weeks away from actual deployment but he's been gone for 3 weeks for training, so it's hit both of us pretty hard. Normally 3-4 weeks is nothing to us but this time it's definitely been harder knowing the time is so near.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02552301709839717118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7122029795960973041.post-72351142186557271752010-03-08T15:45:46.300-07:002010-03-08T15:45:46.300-07:00Denial is a beautiful place to be! I agree, when they start packing is the worst. Good luck getting through it! It always helped me knowing that once he left the hardest part was over and I could start counting down to the homecomings.Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08588577477014288061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7122029795960973041.post-40551677804714725992010-03-08T10:10:49.784-07:002010-03-08T10:10:49.784-07:00It didn't seem real to me until my husband sta...It didn't seem real to me until my husband started packing. Now that he is (mostly) packed, I know it's just a matter of time before he gets on the plane. I'm trying to be strong, and I'm doing a good job of it so far. I'm worried about when I go to drop him off, and the two weeks after that before I move back home. We will support each other!!Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04541702177347386697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7122029795960973041.post-75060833179781909552010-03-08T09:51:10.521-07:002010-03-08T09:51:10.521-07:00It is when the packing starts that it becomes very...It is when the packing starts that it becomes very real.
