Week 23

Day 162

Week 23!! In the grand scheme of things, not too shabby!

So instead of talking about R&R and letting dates slip I'm just going to say ....SQUEEEEEE!!!! I cant wipe the smile off my face. I get up every morning wanting to rush through the day, having one more day down. I get excited about going to sleep, because the time goes by faster when I'm asleep of course. I tell Rigel that Joe is due home and he starts searching the house. He hasn't forgotten about his Joe! I cannot wait to see Rigel's reaction!

Work is good. Working with a bunch of women is again presenting a challenge. But nothing I cant handle. And their drama is usually amusing.

I had my last doctor's appointment yesterday with the surgeon at Evans. He says everything is looking good. And it seems like I am one of the lucky ones whose digestive system hasn't been thrown into chaos. Thank goodness! My tummy was pretty sturdy before the gall bladder fiasco though. (TMI?? LOL!!)

And my bitchy psychotic litter-bug neighbor is loading a U-Haul as we speak!! Speaking of the devil, she just slammed her door for the millionth time today. Really lady? What a moron.

Well, that's all I got. I hope everyone is having a good week.

Woot! And kudos to you for not sharing the dates! I'm seeing a bit too often people doing that. So happy for you guys, and I've gotta hear about Rigel's reaction :)

Yay! Any fun plans while he's home? After he leaves I think we should get together for coffee/dinner somewhere! Can't wait to see reunion pics!

Lots of plans actually. We're going to see a baseball game in Denver, riding the Royal Gorge train in Canon City, going to the State Fair in Pueblo, and then seeing all of the sights here in Colorado Springs, like ride the cog up to Pikes Peak. We had only been here 2 months when Joe deployed and it was really too cold to do anything outside.

Erin, we should TOTALLY do coffee/lunch some time after Joe leaves.
