The Adventure Begins!! .... well... it begins tomorrow.

I haven't updated my blog in a while. I've been in Paris, Arkansas visiting my family. Joe is on PCS leave and I quit my job December 4th. We've had a blast here and I really don't want to leave. We had Christmas with Joe's family yesterday and we're having Christmas with my family today. Two ducks, a roast beast, risotto, and all the fixings. Yum!

Tomorrow we hit the road again, back to Kansas. We have Tuesday to pack up all of the cars and to separate everything we're taking to Colorado before the movers come on Wednesday to "evaluate" our house. They come Thursday to pack it all up. And back on Friday to pack up the truck. I didn't know the movers like to "evaluate" the house before they start packing. They didn't do that when they packed me up to move to Kansas. I just called the movers and let them know what I had.
Best question:
"Do you have anything unusual that we have to move?"
"What would be unusual?"
"Like a canoe."
"Nope, no canoes."
"Fantastic!"

So we're going to weigh our cars and do a partial dity move, something I would be doing even if we weren't getting reimbursed for it. There are just some things that I don't want other people messing with, like my scrapbooks. I could never replace them!

I'll try to blog along the way. I'll always be on Twitter of course!

So I'm gonna go eat breakfast with my mom and dad now and then scrapbook a little bit more. Have a good day!!
