Joe's description of his new CHU....

i have my own 20lb fire extinguisher, lol.
and i have real lights with a light switch on the wall and a window with a shade.
its pretty nice to have my own fridge and microwave, i'm probably the only one that has them.
plus my own tv with a wii.
and a dvd player.
the mattress on the bed isn't terrible either.
i also have a wall locker for my clothes, but now i need hangers.
we also have lan line internet so we don't have to worry about the wireless going out anymore, the internet will still go out from time to time, but it won't be nearly as often.

Absolutely night and day really. I am surprised at the upgrade. Living in a tent for 6 months cant be easy. He has a night stand for pete's sake! And the brown jersy sheets I sent him to use on his air mattress.

And while I am beyond thrilled for Joe, I cant help but think about our good friend in Afghanistan living in horrible conditions. I can only hope he gets an upgrade too.
