R&R is finally upon us!! Joe got in last Thursday morning. It was freaking awesome!! After being bumped far too much on his way here (more about that later), he arrived at our little airport. I saw him in the terminal and had to hold back my squeals. I didn't think I would be so worked up. While I was showering that morning, I was just antsy about the drive and the wait at the airport. But as soon as I pulled onto the road to the airport I started crying. It came out of nowhere. And I couldn't control it. But I pulled it together before Joe got here.
We've been having a blast since he arrived. I posted some pics on Facebook yesterday. We've been to the Colorado State Fair and a Colorado Rockies baseball game in Denver so far. There is more planned.

Keep enjoying the time and although I know it will be tough, I hope the rest of deployment flies by for you. R&R goodbye seemed to be harder for my husband and me then the original goodbye was! SO happy that he is home. I remember that feeling all to well even though it was a year ago since he took his R&R and 7 months since he got home from Deployment. How quickly time flies!
